Keep you signed in and allow the application to verify your identity. They hold the tokens Amazon Cognito issues when you sign in: an ID token and an access token, which expire after an hour and are renewed automatically, and the refresh token used to renew them. These cookies are HttpOnly, which means they are not available to client-side scripts, and last for up to 5 days. Logging out revokes the refresh token and removes them.

Protect signing in and signing out from tampering while you are sent to the sign-in page and back. These cookies are HttpOnly and expire after 5 minutes.
org_id
Remembers the organisation you are currently using so the application can apply the correct organisation context. This cookie is HttpOnly and lasts for up to 30 days.
user_role
Remembers your primary role so the application can direct you to the appropriate protected area. This cookie is available to the application's client-side code and lasts for up to 30 days.
All of these cookies apply across the application, use SameSite=Lax, and are marked Secure in production so browsers send them only over HTTPS.
Logging out clears the authentication, organisation, and role cookies used by the application. You can also use your browser settings to view, block, or delete cookies. The available controls vary between browsers, so refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions.
Blocking or deleting these essential cookies may sign you out, remove your selected organisation, or prevent protected areas of the application from working correctly. The stated durations are maximum lifetimes; cookies may be cleared earlier when you log out, use your browser controls, or when required for security.
